Theme: "Digitalisation Of Management Education In South Asia"


From 28th to 30th September, 2020


AMDISA organized a 3-day online International Faculty Development Program on "Digitalization of Management Education in South Asia" on 28th, 29th and 30th September, 2020 from 2.30 p.m to 7.45 p.m (IST) through Zoom Meetings platform. This program was conceived with the view to prepare and equip the faculty in the region for the post COVID-19 world, to meet the challenges of the emerging new environment through integration of technology in their academics including examinations. This was a fee based program. The Participants and Resource Persons were drawn from South Asia including from Bahrain.

This FDP is a significant and innovative idea in as much as it helped the faculty in the academic network to become better equipped through integration of technology in their teaching, learning interactions amid the COVID-19 disruption.

The biggest takeaway was participants who were faculty members found this program very informative and enriching. It helped them to meet the challenges of the emerging new environment through integration of technology in their academics including examinations. It also helped them reexamine the learning model in the changed environment.

The overall rating by participants on a 5 point scale of all the sessions was 4.3.
